Dear Birthmother,

We are so excited that you've taken a moment to look at our letter. We realize that deciding to place your baby with a loving and supportive family is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life. We hope that you will take a minute to read on and learn a little bit about us. We look forward to getting to know you as well sometime in the future.

Zach and his Godparents, David & FaribaDavid on Fariba
My life changed forever when I met Fariba ten years ago. She is truly a partner in life. She has taught me so much about different cultures and different ways of looking at things. She is such a loving and caring person. I see it in the way she holds and loves my nieces and nephews. I see it in the way she talks with my mother or looks after my father. I know what a wonderful mother she will make because I am lucky enough to see it everyday in her interaction with children, friends, family and even strangers. Fariba will be the type of mother that is always involved with her children's lives. Not in an overly protective way or by interfering with their learning on their own, but in a way that is never too busy to answer a question, help with school or just to give a hug and kiss so our children know they will always be loved.

Fariba on David
David is my best friend. He won me over instantly with his caring and gentle nature. He also has an incredible sense of humor!! It has been a great blessing to be able to laugh together even during difficult times. He is a smart, patient, loving, loyal and responsible person. I know that David will be a wonderful father because I have experienced his kindness, caring and love firsthand. I have also observed him with our friends' children, as well as, his nieces and nephews. He is a natural with children, whether wrestling or playing tea party. He enjoys everything from feeding our newborn nephew to playing basketball with the older children. David will be the type of father who is involved in every aspect of our child's life. He will encourage our child to try new things and learn by doing, all the while standing close by to provide encouragement and make sure that he or she is safe.
